Been a while......

Hey

Its been a couple of weeks since I have posted anything as I have been quite busy working even tho I have been off uni sorry!!

Eventually got some coursework to do it just happened to be for every module and all came at the same time, so I am going to be busy.
For my Service Marketing and Management lecture I have to do a service plan and a service scape of a store, I have chosen Urban Outfitters as I very fond of the general store layouts, window displays etc and for my Buying and Merchandising module I have coursework and a group presentation which is all about visual merchandising which is a personal favourite area of mine.
Unfortunately I also have coursework for my CCS module (which I like to call an english lecture as its just a waste of time) but as its CCS I don't quite understand it yet but I am sure it will be entertaining.
What I am most excited about is I have just started a photography (still life) module and its all to do with fashion accessorises. So I have started my magazine/internet research and found some amazing concepts, also had a looked into some photographers i.e. Kevin Cummins (love!!!!), Richard Billingham, Sam Taylor-Wood, Anton Corbijin, David LaChapelle, Martin Parr, Nan Goldin.
So at the minute I have millions of ideas/concepts going around my head so hopefully some will turn out amazing.

Back to that place.....

Hey
Went back to Uni this week and I managed to understand Merchandising Plans which I never thought I would get or find interesting. I also eventually got some coursework which I could be more happier about even tho its for my Service Marketing and Management lecture. We have to evaluate a servicescape and service process of a store of our choice, FUN!!! let you's know how i get on with that!
Had a relaxing weekend and went fabric shopping with 2 of my friends which made me miss designing and creating garments again so I am gonna go back to it in my spare time, so hopefully soon I will  be able share my designs with you's on here.

A quiet weekend in a small place called Manchester......

Hey....

Just got home from a fabulous weekend in Manchester with one of my best friends Ashleigh. 

We arrived on friday afternoon and went for a little explore and to work out where we were and it turned out we were in the perfect location for everything then we ended up a tattoo shop and i booked myself in for a new tattoo for the next day :D, we had dinner and a proper good catch up!!

Saturday was all about shopping and trust me we did plenty of that!!! Really don't want to look at my bank account but i got some beautiful garments from the likes of Topshop, Urban Outffiters and H&M but most of all we got to explored the vintage shops from the likes of Blue Rinse, Wonderland and in the Arcade that have lots of little stalls, we both got some fabulous T-shirts and a other garments then i got my tattoo :D we had a earlyish tea and went for drinks :D unfortunately the rain was annoying.

Sunday we just explored manchester some more and went to Harvey Nichols as i love the window and instore display!!! and some beautiful YSL heels and a LV bag caught my eye.

We poped into The Hard Rock Cafe for some food and well need afternoon cocktails. Then we got ourselves ready and away to the MEN to see Calvin Harris and the beautiful Rihanna. They were both amazing, Calvin Harris got us up dancing straight away and once Rihanna hit the stage we sang our hearts out she was perfect!!!! 

Truly had an amazing weekend :D

A Trip Down Memory Lane...

Hey....
I am back home in Newcastle tonight as i am off to Manchester in the morning for some much needed shopping and what best is manchester is fabulous for vintage!!!
Now i am in second year we have all split up into our specialised topics of fashion and i am seeing 3 of my flat mates getting stressed over fashion design. Being home reminds me of all the late nights and stressful moments i had to complete project and garments in my diploma and foundation degree and it makes me miss it but i have some beautiful photos.....
