Time to Discover the East

...Hey Guys
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while had a few busy Christmas, but after Christmas I was very lucky to get the opportunity to go to Thailand with 4 of my friends, we had an amazing!!
We started off in a bit of a traumatic bus ride to famous Full Moon Party island of Koh Phangan but we made it in once piece just a few Baht short. It is a beautiful island and our accommodation was so chilled and the food was gorgeous (especially since I have never really experienced Thai food). We had an amazing 4 nights here and celebrated New Year in properly 1 of the best way you can (on a beach, covered in neon paint, with some amazing friends + 20,000 other people and a bucket filled with Vodka). As a storm hit the Gulf we got a bit bored and decided to explore some trips we could do, and we found we could go on a Elephant trek which also include a snake and crocodile show and also a trip to a temple and a waterfall, we really enjoyed we just wished the Elephant trek had been a bit longer and actually went through the forest.
We moved onto Koh Pii Pii and we could of stayed for the 3 weeks it was amazing and we had so much fun, its a complete party island and we loved it!! Also got a new tattoo here.
From Pii Pii we went to Phuket, I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone its a very seedy place. We left quickly and headed up north to Chiang Mai, I was excited to see Chiang Mai as I had heard the temples were amazing, unfortunately I became ill and we decided to leave and head to Koh Chang.
Koh Chang was a beautiful island and we had a time to chill and relax but it would of been nice to have a bit more atmosphere but maybe we went at the wrong time.
After 4 days in Koh Chang it was time to head to Bangkok as our trip was coming to an end and to be quite honest I was ready for need, I missed hot water, different clothes and my bed!! In Bangkok as I got ill in Chiang Mai I really want to go off and see some culture so we went off to see the Grand Palaces and the Reclining Buddha then we went off to the Tiger Temple (which has lots of criticism around the place to whether to tigers are drugged etc, I personally don't know how the Tigers are treated and I wouldn't what to pass comment on it but I did really enjoy it).
Our last day in Bangkok was spent at the famous MBK shopping centre and we definitely bought plenty.

Over all I had an amazing experience and can't wait to return!!

I am now back at Uni, have missed 2 weeks so I am in the process of working out what I need to be doing.

Speak soon xoxo

Unfortunately I lost my camera so here is a few photos that my friends have taken, more will come
